Healux 18cm Cast Iron Paniyaram Pan – 9 Cavity comes pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil. Made from high quality Cast Iron, it provides excellent even heat distribution & retention. It requires proper care to maintain its non-stick surface and prevent rust. With proper care, cast-iron cookware can last for generations, improving with age as it develops a natural non-stick surface.

Method of usage

Initial Cleaning instructions for a new Cast Iron Cookware
  • Boil water in the new Healux Cast-Iron Cookware. Once the water has cooled, wash the cookware using warm, soapy water and a scrubber.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry it completely with a paper towel or cloth.
  • Place the cookware on a gas stove and heat until all the water evaporates.
  • Apply a thin layer of cooking oil over the entire cookware, including both the top and bottom surfaces. Place the cookware on the gas stove and heat till it starts smoking.
  • Sauté chopped onions or vegetable scraps in the cookware until they turn brown and discard the vegetables.
  • Wipe the cookware thoroughly with a kitchen towel. Your new Healux cast-iron cookware is clean, seasoned, and ready for cooking.
  • Regular use naturally seasons your cast iron cookware. The platina will develop a smooth, black surface, enhancing its non-stick properties.

Caution

  • Cast-Iron Cookware can only be used on gas stoves.
  • It is not Dishwasher, Induction or Microwave safe.
  • Cast Iron Cookware is bound to rust if not seasoned properly between each use.
  • If rust appears, scrub it off with steel wool or a stiff brush, rinse, and dry immediately.
  • Re-season the cookware afterwards to restore its protective coating.
